We are looking for an individual who will serve a clinical function by carrying out marketing and sales support activities during on-site sales evaluations within the operating rooms and clinics of one our Key Accounts.  Product demonstrations will be focused on the Olympus state-of-the-art minimally invasive digital surgical video technologies and related surgical products.  Responsibilities include supporting the local Olympus salesforce by working with surgeons, OR nurses, and sterile supply personnel to ensure proper operation, efficient use, and positive opinion towards Olympus surgical products.  The Surgical Specialist will further provide customer in-service education sessions, product demonstrations to potential customers, equipment installation assistance, maintain a working knowledge of competitive products, and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·        Self motivation, people skills, and self confidence are essential

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Healthcare, clinical and/or sales experience preferred

·        Knowledge of hospital and operating room environment is essential

·        Solid working knowledge of electronics, personal computer (PC) hardware and software concepts is required

·        Experience within an Integrated OR Suite is ideal

·        Some Travel required

·        Flexible hours required, with emphasis on an early morning start

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

·        Good pay, benefits, car and expenses for the right person
