Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the Olympus IPLEX videoscope system is relied upon to provide unwavering support to Wescast’s casting inspection operation. With such a demanding environment and heavy inspection schedule, Wescast have to use a product they can rely upon and an organization able to support their operation.

One of the IPLEX units in operation with the Wescast inspectors has clocked up over 19000 hours of almost continuous operation (save for replacing consumables) and as you can see from the images, the environment and inspection is one that is demanding for any optical inspection tool.
